Leon Dwayne Baucham, Jr.
December 22, 1978 - July 11, 2012

On December 22, 1978, LaVonne and Leon Baucham, Sr., became parents of a happy and healthy baby boy. He was brought home on Christmas Eve. It was a joyous occasion and he was proudly named after his father. Being a junior, he was affectionately called "JR" by his family.

One of the happiest days of Leon's life was when he married Umeko Roberts, August 16, 2008. He loved being a father to Brandon, was ecstatic at the birth of Ava, and truly overjoyed at the birth of their son Elijah.

Leon was a diligent worker at Boeing and at Northwest Cascade, FloHawks division. He was a dedicated father, whose main goal was to get on a regular day shift that would allow him more time and flexibility to be with his family and help his children with their school work and activities.

Leon loved sports and played guard and tackle positions on his little league football team. He was a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles football team. His love for the Eagles team began when he was in elementary school.

Leon loved his family and could always be counted on to help any family member or friend in need. Leon was especially close to his grandmother Natalie and Uncle Mark, from whom he sought counsel and helped in many ways.

He had a huge giving heart and loved to laugh and joke around. This was always shown when he was with his children, who could get away with almost anything as long as they gave him those big smiles.

Leon Dwayne Baucham Jr. is survived by his wife Umeko Rena Baucham, three children Brandon Joseph, Ava Rena and Elijah Leon, Mother LaVonne Brown, Father Leon Dwayne Baucham Sr (Sharlyn); Sisters: Rachel Baucham, Esilita Baucham (Kevin), Chynyia Baucham, Amber Karol; Nieces Ciera, Jasmine, K’sia, Nephews Kevin and Ayden; Grandmother Natalie Leath, Aunts Evelyn Robertson, Greta Robertson-Sawyer (Frank), Wandra Baucham (Dennis), Yolanda Baucham, and Uncles Mark Robertson (Diem), and Benny Baucham, as well as a large extended family.
