Condolences

Condolence From: Marian van der Schraaf (Bertolino)
Condolence: I'm really sorry that PJ, the girls and I can not be with you all on Tuesday, but we are with you in spirit. What a wonderful person she was!
Maboo's kind and open heart came out so strong anytime we visited Milton, spoke to her on the phone, or received one of her notes or cards. She had so much love for all of us in this extended family. I will miss her stories of the Kemper family that I never met, like Grandpa Bill and a young Uncle Billy and Jackie. She was always welcoming without judgment, interested in us and the younger generation. I will miss her and wish that I had had more opportunity to know her as many of you did. We are sad that she is gone, but know that she is in a much better place now. PJ remembers that she always thought of everybody, what a true neighbor and friend!

Condolence From: Bill & Alene Kemper
Condolence: What we learned from Marvel was to be gracious, loving, caring, and giving. She was the neighbor who was closer than family, the friend who gave only wise advice, and the selfless companion. Marvel never forgot a birthday and we knew she loved us as much as we loved her. Her quiet demeanor and warm smile always lent calmness to any situation. She was a part of the lives of five generations of Kempers. It was a loving and running joke that Marvel would outlive us all. We will miss her dearly and are convinced that we are richer because she was part of our lives yet poorer for her passing. May she live forever in the memory of those who knew and loved her.

Condolence: Marvel was a wonderful woman, an angel, who showed me that no matter who or what your circumstances are in life, that you must always be strong enough to laugh at your mistakes, forgive those who've hurt you and treasure those who love you. She was a generous and caring woman. I will remember her fondly, and will treasure the love and friendship we had.
