Inez H. Anderson passed away January 3, 2011 at the age of 91. Born on September 27, 1919 in Tacoma, Washington to Swedish immigrants Gustav and Hilma Nelson. Life-long Tacoma resident. Graduate of Lincoln H.S., 1937, and Pacific Lutheran College, 1940, followed by a working career as an elementary school teacher. Her life was dedicated to a committed Christian faith and Tacoma First Covenant Church. "Well done, good and faithful servant" Her love for family, friends, and baking will be remembered. She was preceded in death by husband of 38 years, Donald M. Anderson, brother Henning, and sister Eva. Survived by son Mark O. (Angel) Anderson, and grandsons Michael and Matthew. Thank you to Tacoma Lutheran Retirement Community residents and staff for over 20 years of friendship, caring, and the place she called "home." Private graveside service and burial to be at Mountain View Cemetery. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the chapel at the Tacoma Lutheran Retirement Community, 1301 N. Highlands Pkwy, Tacoma, WA.
