Aggie was born Jan 9, 1922 in Ft. Langley, BC Canada, the daughter of Barbara Bessie (Henderson) Prendergast and William James Prendergast. She was the oldest of three siblings.

Before she graduated from Puyallup High School in 1940, she was an avid member of the school softball team and an editor on the school newspaper staff.

On August 25, 1950, she married the love of her life, Dick Uhrich who survives her. She is also survived by, her son and daughter-in-law, Les and Diane Uhrich, of Tacoma, WA; her daughter, Anna Marie Uhrich of Tacoma WA; her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Terry Uhrich of Sammamish, WA.; youngest brother Gilbert Prendergast of Tacoma, WA; 10 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many beloved friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Joy Johnson, her grandson Christopher Johnson, and her brother William R. Prendergast.

Aggie was a tireless ambassador for the Lord, serving as a Sunday-school teacher, a volunteer foster parent to troubled teens, and she was always there for anyone in need of a friend. In her lifetime she, along with her husband, helped found and grow 7 churches in Pierce County and supported missionaries all over the world.

A small graveside service was held March 28 at Mountain View Memorial Park in Tacoma, WA. Her grandson, Dean Johnson officiated. A memorial service will be held April 7, 2012, 2:30 PM at the Living Grace Ministries Church, 106 So. 28th St, Tacoma, WA 98402.

We would like to thank friends and family who were there at her side helping Aggie on her journey forward.
