Obituary for Alice Fisher

Alice Fisher
Alice Elizabeth Fisher Age 85, passed away on January 24, 2013 in Puyallup, WA Alice was born in Camp Crook, SD to Walter and Lily Snover on July 13, 1927. She married her high school sweetheart, William Mason. They settled in Lakewood, WA, where they raised three children and where Alice worked as a sales clerk for JCPenney's in Villa Plaza.

Following Bill's death in 1965, Alice embraced new adventures and married William Gjertson, with whom she shared many happy times. Alice loved the company of family and friends, and treasured her faithful companion, Benji the wonder dog. Alice later married Richard Fisher, her husband of 22 years, who preceded her in death in 2005. Together they hosted many barbecues and family gatherings, with Alice taking special care to make sure every guest was filled with food and laughter. One of Alice's favorite memories is of a family vacation to Cabo, where Alice and her granddaughters would meet on the beach at "The Office". They watched the sunset, told stories, and laughed. Many years later and with much love, Alice's granddaughter Laura Bowerman opened her home to care for Alice until her death. Alice is survived by three children, Sharon Mason-Dean (Richard) of Georgetown, TX, Ronald Mason (Elizabeth) of Lakewood, and Dennis Mason (Marilyn) of Lacey. She leaves behind a large extended family of step-children and grandchildren, including one great-great grandson.
