Glenda Rouse was born in Boone, IA on 29 March 1936 and transplanted to Tacoma in 1941. She was the eldest child of Gerald D. Halloway and Myrlin A. Wagner Halloway. She attended Horace Mann Elementary, Steward Junior High and Lincoln High. She worked for Ted Brown Music Company, CNA Insurance, the State of Washington, DSHS, Social Security Administration, and retired from Health Care Financing Administration (CMS) in 1994.

She was preceded in death by ex-husbands Clifford E. Livermore (1985), Allen E. Rouse (1993), and her husband of 13 years, Jean A. Treloar (2004), her parents, Dale and Myrlin, and her brother, LaVerne K. (Bud) Halloway (2004). Survivors include sons Ernest C. Livermore, Glen A. Livermore, Karroll L. Livermore, Jess A. Treloar (Susan), Steve Treloar (Rhonda); daughters Connie L. McAlister, Leslie (David) Hammel, Laura Thorpe; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and nine nieces and nephews. Glenda requested no services be held. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM on 9 February 2013 at First Spiritualist Church, 341 2nd St. SE, Puyallup, WA 98372.
