Condolences

Condolence From: Sarah Hires - Granddaughter
Condolence: Words just seem inadequate to describe how special gramps was and how special he made his grand and great grandchildren feel. My earliest and fondest memories are of being at Grammy and Grampsy's house. As a young child of divorce, they provided stability and a safe haven. He would pick me up from preschool in his blue truck and drive over the curb to my squeals of delight. When my brother and I arrived very early in the morning being dropped off by our dad after a weekend visit, he would say, "who's out there" and we would rush into his room to cuddles and praise. Grampsy always delighted in his grandchildren, when we arrived he always stopped what he was doing to say hello, give kisses and let us know he was so proud of us. He loved simply, consistently and without fail. A very safe and secure place in my world is gone with Gramps. ps. Gramps, last night driving with our three kids in the car, JA waited to go on the green light just like you taught us, and to our horror a semi truck ran the red, and we felt your protection then and I reminded Nehemiah, Samuel and Miriam of your practical wisdom and love! You will never be forgotten and have inspired John Allen and I to be grandparents just like you and Grammy!

Condolence From: James, Danielle and Abigial Paulson
Condolence: My Dearest Gramps,

It's so hard to believe that you are gone. You were such an amazing man, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Abigail gives special prayers for you every single night.

I will always remember you fussing over our cute "button noses" and you were so excited when Abigail was born that she had one to.

It's not "Good Bye" but "See you Later". Until we meet again, enjoy laughter, flying model airplanes and chopping wood.

I love you so very much and you will never be forgotten!

Danielle
